Our Heritage
Sree Siddaganga Math is an ancient ashram fostering a continuous line of illustrious “Shiva Yogi Siddapurushas”. The Math was established by Sree Gosala Siddeshwara Swamiji in 15th century A.D. In this tradition of illustrious shivyogis, it has progressed with unique contributions from Sree Sree Ataveeshwara Swamigalu, Sree Sree Uddana Shivayogigalu and His Holiness Dr. Sree Sree Sivakumara Swamigalu. The Math is situated amidst a divenly serene and colorful landscape at a distance of 63 Kms from Bangalore, Karnataka, India. The Math has been developed in to a much visited piligrimage.
Sree Siddaganga Math is a unique Gurukula providing education to more than 10,000 poor children with free food, education and shelter, without any discrimination of caste or creed. The Math also runs blind schools at various places and organises annual Agricultural & Industrial exhibitions for the benefit of Farmers.
